Split Large File

Split a local file into numbered parts with SHA-256 verification, without uploading.

How to use

1. Select the original file and set a part size in MiB.
2. Download all numbered part files plus the .lhtparts.json manifest. Keep every part and the manifest to rejoin later.

About these formats

Unlike lossy conversion, file splitting preserves the original byte sequence exactly. SHA-256 hashes in the manifest identify damaged or missing parts.

Browser limitations

Files are limited to 1 GiB and 300 parts per operation. Browser ZIP download of many large parts may require significant memory; individual downloads are available.

Can I restore the original?

Yes. Use Join Split Files and include the manifest plus every numbered part.

Is my file uploaded?

No. Slices and checksum computations stay in your browser.
