About these formats

7-Zip archives can use LZMA compression to reduce size. RAR is a different proprietary archive format.

Browser limitations

Only regular, unencrypted archive entries are supported. 150 MiB compressed input, 350 MiB expanded output and 300 entries. Links, malformed formats, oversized output or unsupported extensions may fail. Uses libarchive WebAssembly locally.

Are archives sent to LHTSOFT?

No. Archive decompression runs in a local browser worker.

Does it support passwords?

Password-protected 7Z archives are not supported by this extractor.
