About these formats

PDF pages may contain text, vector shapes, and embedded images. Rasterizing to PNG creates pixels and removes editable text or vectors.

Browser limitations

Maximum 45 MiB PDF input, 50 pages, 25 million pixels per output page. Encrypted and damaged PDFs may not render. Image output is not OCR or editable.

Frequently asked questions

Will text remain selectable?

No. Every PDF page becomes a raster image.

Is the PDF uploaded?

No. Rendering uses PDF.js locally.
